Neutrog Wins Business Impact Award

Neutrog Australia has won a major South Australian business award in recognition of its innovation, growth and positive global impact.

Neutrog was last night (November13) announced as the co-winner of the 2025 William Buck Impact Award at a gala industry event held at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Our team attended the event along with approximately 230 business leaders, owners and operators, with one of South Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs and the founder of SAGE Automation, Andrew Downs delivering the keynote address.

High performing businesses from a variety of industries were nominated for the Award with six finalists emerging from a rigorous independent judging process.

Neutrog is in the midst of a major growth phase, building on its global reputation as a leader in the development and production of sustainable, biologically active, organically-based fertilisers.

Our business was named as the winner of the 2025 Impact Award along with advanced composite manufacturer Novafast.

Neutrog’s Managing Director Angus Irwin said the award win recognised the outstanding contributions of the entire team at Neutrog.

“We are all deeply passionate about what we do and the role we play in the circular economy,” Angus said.

“Ultimately, we are helping solve critical sustainability problems, none more critical than feeding a growing world population at a time of diminishing resources.

“This award confirms that our commitment and investment in R&D are ideally positioning Neutrog to continue to make a positive impact at a local, national and global scale.

“Our journey up until this point has been a dynamic one and the outlook from here makes us all pretty excited for what lies ahead.”

At the Awards evening, Angus was also announced as the winner of the Australian Centre for Business Growth Scholarship to take part in a University of South Australia leadership program for owners of growth-oriented companies.
