Top 100 SA Business

Neutrog Australia has been officially recognised as one of South Australia’s leading businesses.

Appearing on the InDaily Top 100 SA Business Index for the first time, the biological fertiliser company was announced in 92nd position during a premier business event in Adelaide today.

The Index, now in its 10th year, showcases the best of the best among South Australian businesses with Santos, Argo Investments and Beach Energy taking out the top three positions.

Neutrog is in the midst of a strong growth phase.

Over the past five years, staff numbers at Neutrog have risen from around 40 to 70 while annual revenue is now more than $21 million, with sales increasing nationally and in overseas markets.

Earlier this year Neutrog acquired national liquid fertiliser manufacturer Rutec and purchased a farming property at Langhorne Creek in South Australia. Meanwhile development of Neutrog’s new $3.5 million research and education facility at Kanmantoo is progressing.

Business leaders from across industry attended the popular event which featured State Premier, The Hon Peter Malinauskas MP, who delivered the opening address, and high profile economist David Koch as keynote speaker.
