Australian Certified Organic
Neutrog is granted organic certification for specific products, achieved following our methods and processes for manufacturing these particular products, being extensively audited to ensure that they comply with the standards and guidelines set down by the certifying body.

All Neutrog products are classified as biological.
Biological products are living products, alive with naturally occurring microscopic organisms that can achieve certain functions. They require rigorous and technical expertise to be manufactured and can be customised to individual applications.
In addition, all Neutrog products are organically based, which means they all contain an element of organic material derived from the ageing and curing of nutritionally dense chicken litter (the bedding material from chicken sheds).
A range of Neutrog products are independently accredited as ACO, or Australian Certified Organic Allowable Input, these products are marked with a distinct logo.

What is ACO?
The ACO is Australia’s largest and leading certification agency for organic and biodynamic production.
It is also Australia’s largest representative group for the organic industry, for primary producers, marketers, processors and consumers of organic products.
The ACO is an active cooperative providing certification services, production information and facilitation of government support services for organic producers, processors, input manufacturers and exporters, both nationally and internationally.
With the growing demand for fertilisers and soil enhancers sourced from refuse and industrial by-products, the ACO has the industry’s only comprehensive certification system for such products in order to promote premium, organically compliant products.
Purchasing an ACO certified product is your guarantee that it has been produced with the support and endorsement of the organic industry.
What does ACO Allowable Input mean?
Neutrog is granted organic certification for specific products, achieved following our methods and processes for manufacturing these particular products, being extensively audited to ensure that they comply with the standards and guidelines set down by the certifying body.
Certification ensures compliance with national production standards and allows trace back of all products to their origin.
Products must comply with all aspects of the Standard, including low heavy metals and being free of other residues such as pesticides, parasites, pathogens and weed seeds while being based upon natural processes of production only.
Ultimately organic certification is gained to reassure, and give confidence to, consumers that the product they are purchasing is, indeed, organic.
